My name is Arielle Poliakoff and I'm the proud founder of Pretty Sweet Confections. Pretty Sweet Confections was born from a love of baking and a yearning to test my cake-decorating skills. I used to look for any excuse to treat my Baltimore-based family and friends to a decadent dessert. I went dizzy watching online tutorials on how to make the perfect mirror glaze or create a gravity-defying five-tier cake. This passion project filled my time when I wasn't otherwise occupied as an elementary school speech pathologist or running around after my young children! After months of trial and error in my own kitchen, tons of encouragement from my community, and many hours of burning the midnight oil, I decided to devote my attention to Pretty Sweet Confections full time. Now I am following my dreams and running a fully equipped kosher-certified bakery. I am always looking for new opportunities, and no celebration is too big or too small! I look forward to baking for your next simcha!
